SLEEK SLINKY MID-CENTURY MODERN POTTERY MOUNTAIN LION/COUGAR GREAT GLAZE MINT

Description

I believe this to be a circa 1950's-60's pottery cougar/mountain lion, long, angular, stealthy and slinking low, slightly turned with mouth open, fangs exposed.  It is perfect, no chips or cracks, no scratches or loss of glaze.  The only marks are the numerals 46 on the bottom of its forward paw.  It measures approx 13" L x 3" W x 7" , and weighs approx 2 1/4 pounds.  The glaze is a beautiful brown, grey and blue drip glaze.  The cat's form is angular, subtly geometric.  Check out my OTHER ITEMS/SELLER STORE.
