RARE, Vtg. Pan American Lei Coffee Cups, Vernon Kilns, Xlnt Condition Must See.
Four identical cups, sold together, bid will be for all.
Pan American Airways had this China made specifically for the Hawaiian market show in 1950 in Honolulu. This pattern was being promoted in conjunction with PanAm flights from the mainland to Hawaii.
These are great pieces of aviation memorabilia.
They flew from 1927-1991.
They measure 4 3/8” across and 1 1/2” high.
Unique shape handle.
No chips, crackle,repairs, only flaws are in the firing, the bottom of one cup and the inside has pink from the paint process, all are in the pictures.
