    Hopkins became league president in 1984 until 2017. I've had this ball about 20 years give or take.
    ROM - CAR stands for Rawlings Official Minor - Carolina League
    I know there are at least 3 versions on the league stamp while Hopkins was president. The differences are the word president or it's abreviation after (and in one instance under) his name.
