NOTE: This spool gun uses AK24 consumables.
This item come with a separate control box for Av5x+, so you can control the speed of the wire on the spool gun, would give you instructions how to operate through the Av5x+ machine , or you can call as well to get you in the ball park to welding aluminum, ss steel, steel, you use straight argon to weld all 3 metals, so yes you do not have to change bottles or get a second bottle of mixed gas , you only straight argon, just up the argon flow to 20 ball float on your argon flow regulator . the controller can be wired for 120 voltage or 220v(let us know ) so can plug into the water cooler receptacle on back of the Av5x+ , most will go with the 120 voltage regular wall socket household power.
