We are honored to be disposing of the Estate from a truly passionate philatelist.  Quality, comprehensive Early U.S. collections are becoming increasingly scarce.  This collection of quality stamps started with the collector's father in the 1930-1950 timeframe.  After being passed on to the current collector it was actively expanded to include many quality items over a 40+ year timeframe.  This collector specialized in many segments of United States issues and had a discerning eye for quality, along with the financial means to acquire whatever he set his sights on.  In 25+ years of selling United States stamps, we believe that this is the only collection we have handled that appears to have been sourced from only two ASDA/APS Stamp Dealers.  Both enjoy a sterling reputation of accurate identification and description.
