The AS1 pant has a classic CCM cut with an anatomical fit, with plenty of technological features to keep you comfortable and protected, starting with D3O smart material. D3O works by using a unique molecular structure which allows molecules to flow freely in standard conditions, giving the material a soft and flexible feel. But on impact, like a body check or blocked shot, the molecules lock together to absorb and dissipate impact energy. This means that the stronger the impact, the more the molecules react, offering you unparalleled protection. And after the impact occurs, the molecules return to their free-flowing state, giving you the superior comfort you’re looking for.
CCM strategically places D3O in the AS1 pant, getting the most out of this top-of-the-line material. In the hip, a pro-level JDP cap is reinforced with D3O, forming to produce a construction designed to disperse the force of impact away from the hip joint while absorbing shock. For enhanced back protection, a height adjustable floating spine protector combines with D3O to produce a feature that not only offers superior protection and comfort, but also allows for personalization with the ability to adjust the height of the floating spine based on personal preference and need.
The AS1 includes many other protective features throughout the pant, like the use of molded caps. For kidney coverage, CCM uses a molded PE cap for pro-level protection. For the thigh guard, a floating molded HD cap is combined with PE foam for increased impact absorption. These floating caps move with you as you skate, giving you constant protection while acting as an extension of your body. The thigh guard also offers a leg zipper for a personalized fit, easy access for custom embroidery, and enhanced comfort.
The Super Tacks AS1 uses pro 400D nylon for its overall construction which reduces weight and optimizes wear resistance. This technology is further enhanced by reinforcement in the side panels for even more durability, especially in high-wear areas. And for an improved fit, CCM’s internal belting system allows for ultimate adjustability. This includes a stabilized belly pad and a length adjusting zipper with a 1-inch extension for the extra protection you’re looking for from a top-end pant.

The pant shows minimal scuff with absolutely no tears or holes / rips. The only thing were the front side tags were ripped out probably for comfort reasons. Nothing here should affect the wear and comfort of the pants, as they are in really good condition.
