    Description

    Censor Number 8168 in normal type, no I.C., on a Maritime Mail cover to Bradley Beach, New Jersey, marked O.A.S. (on active service) in ink.  It was marked with "BY AIR MAIL/POSTAGE PAID" handstamp with H.M.S. naval handstamp.  It was dated 12/6/4 from AF Rodwell.  This is part of an irreplaceable collection formed over several decades.  This item in particular is very rare.  The only number example of this number censor known is the bold one also for sale.
