It also fits
C.O.R.E.， however, you need o use 6/32x5/8 cap screws to mount red dots like vortex to a SW MP C.O.R.E. The
6/32x5/8 cap screws are not included, you can get it from a local hardware store like homedepot for less than a quarter.
This adapter when used on the S&W M&P C.O.R.E. fits on top of the slide assembly without removing the top plate.
It requires 5/8 screws that go through the sight, the mounting plate, the top plate on the slide and into the slide of the firearm. If someone has the #5 plate the gun comes with ( I don't ) they would not need your adaptor and they would mount the sight to the slide using just the #5 plate and not the cover plate that is in place when you are not using any optics
