"The loquacious Gottlieb," as the media guide presciently notes, was one of the top play makers in college hoops, averaging 8.6 assists a game for Coach Eddie Sutton's Pokes as OSU finished 27-7. Gottlieb wore #44 and he's pictured in the top row on the front cover of the media guide.
