Description

This is a 1953-54 soft-cover hockey booklet (see picture) entitled HOW TO WATCH AND ENJOY HOCKEY.  This booklet, 21 pages in length, was published by the STROH BREWERY COMPANY of DETROIT, brewers of STROH'S BEER.  It contains diagrams and narrative on all facets of hockey--from the face-off, off-sides, and icing the puck to the power play, the trailer play, and illegal goals.  There are 5 pages devoted to the Stroh Brewery Company, and the last two pages are the 1953-54 NHL schedule.  This booklet is clean and intact, exhibiting light wear, discoloration, and creasing from handling and storage over the past 68 years.  Except for pencil marks highlighting the Detroit games on the schedule, there is no handwriting in the booklet.  It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that hockey enthusiast, Stroh's Beer historian, or booklet collector in your life!  Postage is .00.  And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases.  Sorry, NO international shipping.  Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
