", 44 pages.  Really great brochure advertising, basically, "learn taxidermy at home"!  J.W. Elwood was the Founder and by all looks of it was quite successful.  Two pages especially caught my eye (not in photos);  Novelty Taxidermy - which shows how to put your critters in fun scenarios, like mice playing billiards, or the squirrels boxing in the ring!  The other is the center spread highlighting one of their most successful students, William, Hutton, who was named the Official Taxidermist by Maharajah of Patiala State, India.  They even sent an exhibit of his work to London!  Also included is the "Application for Membership", dated 1947.  ".00 is enclosed and I agree to pay the balance of tuition, .00 monthly."  Total tuition was TEN DOLLARS!  The brochure is copyrighted 1944 inside front page.  So much great information and TONS of photographs, too.  Nothing detrimental to report.  A fine addition to any collection.  Very good condition.
