    The two wires aside is for 24V power supply from your mig wire feed motor.
    Make sure your mig wire feed motor is 24V!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi will this gun go on to a wia 270c welder and if so do I need to connect the 24v wires

    please check your welder. If the mig wire feed motor is 24v, and welder has euro connector, yes.
    you need to manually cut the 24V power wires of your mig wire feed motor, and connect to 24v Torch side. More easy if you have an switch to do it. So everything you need spool gun just turn the switch to give it power. When you need Mig, turn swith back.
    I have no info about your welder. And above is the how.
    Hope you can understand.
    Be carefull do not connect the 24V power wire together.
